How to create a website shortcut on the iPhone

Open Safari on your iPhone and type the website you want to make a shortcut to into the address bar. If you want to go to a specific portion of the website, go there before making the shortcut.

You can use any website, but we will use GottaBeMobile for the demonstration.

When you are looking at the page you want to make a website shortcut for on your iPhone, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.

How to create a website shortcut on Android phone with Google Chrome

Creating home screen shortcuts with Google Chrome (may need to install) is as easy as tapping on More > Add to Home screen. A dialogue box that reads, “Add to Home screen” will be displayed. Type a name for the shortcut and tap on the Add button to finalize the creation of the shortcut.
